SMART Data Model Update

Audience: Data Model Owner. Contact the requester of the integration to seek help.

Gundi requires some new Categories and Attributes in the target Conservation Area’s Data Model. Follow these steps to add the required model elements:

1. Download the small Data Model document from the last section in this page.

2. Open SMART Desktop’s Data Model editor window, as shown below:

3. Click on the Merge Data Model… button.

4. Select to merge the file downloaded in step 1.

5. Click Save to save the updated Data Model.

6. Synchronize with SMART Connect.
