Data Flow.

SMART waypoints (and their associated observations from the SMART query) and independent incidents are processed and displayed as EarthRanger events.

Sequence of events:

1. The system discovers available queries and creates an EventSource in EarthRanger for each query.

2. An EarthRanger administrator reviews the created Event Sources and maps them to new Event Types in EarthRanger.

3. Once an Event Source is mapped, it becomes active. Future integrations will recognize the active EventSource and begin transferring data from the query to EarthRanger.

Important Notes:

• After configuring Event Sources, it may take up to 30 minutes before events start showing up or schema gets adapted to incoming query.

• This integration runs about every 30 minutes to collect updated SMART observations.
