Integration between SMART Connect and EarthRanger

Any EarthRanger or SMART Connect users who wants to keep their data synchronized between these two conservation solutions.

Introduction

Thanks for your interest in testing the “EarthRanger to SMART” integration in your test server! This guide will help you get started with using this integration.

The integration “EarthRanger to SMART” (made possible through Gundi) enables you to receive patrols and incidents created through EarthRanger (as patrols and events) in your SMART Connect CA, which can be displayed in SMART Desktop as independent incidents or patrol waypoints. This includes all event types created from your CA data model and configurable data models.

This documentation is pertinent to the integration where the data flows from EarthRanger to SMART Connect.
Important: There is a second integration (which will soon be documented) for data flowing in the opposite direction - from SMART Connect to EarthRanger. That integration is outside of scope for the documentation that follows.
