To help with the analysis of events, Skylight includes two map layers that can be toggled on/off - the 12 Nautical Miles Territorial Seas and EEZs. The map layers act as guides to assist with analysis of events.

There may be other areas where the simplification process changes the EEZ in Skylight.
For the best resultsa more precise EEZ or 12 NM Territorial Water area, we recommend creating an AOI in Skylight that matches your country’s EEZ or territorial waters.
